Saval is proud to support and partner with many local nonprofit organizations, food banks, churches and philanthropic groups. During 2020, we packed and distributed 15,000 donated boxes of food to feed unemployed restaurant workers in 2020, Secured Farmers to Families government contract: Built and delivered over a million food boxes, and also particitpated in the East Baltimore COVID-19 Food Access Initiative, launched by Johns Hopkins University, was a partnership between JHU, Saval Foodservice, Hungry Harvest, and 16 faith-based and community organizations to provide emergency food assistance to families impacted by COVID-19.
Saval is proud to host an annual charity golf tournament, benefitting the Children's Cancer Foundation. This wonderful local charity raises funds for the research, treatment, and facility needs of those children affected by cancer.
Saval Foodservice has been involved with the Children’s Cancer Foundation for 20 years, both in terms of fundraising and involvement in their activities. Since its inception in 2003, Saval has raised over $350,000 for CCF. Over $43 million dollars have been given in grants by the foundation.
