Marshall Weston Jr of RAM: Marshall Weston has held a number of senior management positions in non-profit associations and the foodservice industry over the past 25 years. He is currently the President and CEO of the Restaurant Association of Maryland (RAM), a statewide trade association of over 2,000 members that is dedicated to promoting, protecting and improving the foodservice and hospitality industry in Maryland. Weston’s knowledge and expertise comes from over ten years of restaurant management experience along with a degree in Public Policy from Penn State University that included working as a Legislative Fellow in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He prides himself in keeping a team of employees, engaged association members and industry partners to ensure that RAM is the most trusted source for restaurant advocacy, regulatory compliance information, foodservice employee training and restaurant focused vendors.

Kathy Hollinger of RAMW: Kathy E. Hollinger is the President of Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW). Prior to her current role at RAMW, Kathy was the founder and managing director of STORYBOARD Communications, LLC, a boutique strategic communications and public affairs agency that leveraged her years of experience in public relations, branding and event marketing. Hollinger has also served as the film commissioner and agency director of the District of Columbia Office of Motion Picture and Television Development, where she was responsible for promoting the nation’s capital as a venue for film and television production nationally and internationally. She initiated, implemented, and managed new programs, operations and logistics that established the Washington, DC market as a premier destination of choice for film, television production, video and multimedia projects. Before the appointment by Washington, DC Mayor Adrian M. Fenty, Hollinger was the senior director of external affairs for Comcast of the District. There she increased the visibility and presence of the company and its brand within the District’s footprint. Under her leadership, Comcast received the “Business of the Year” award from the DC Chamber of Commerce, and the “Champions of Excellence Award” from the US Conference of Mayors. Hollinger was recognized by CableFAX as one of the “Most Influential Minorities in Cable,” in a 2008 roundup of the most diverse power brokers and inspirational leaders working in the communications industry. Hollinger began her career with the City Council of the District of Columbia, working as the campaign press director and director of communications for DC Councilmember Charlene Drew Jarvis, and later, as chief of staff for DC Councilmember Kevin P. Chavous. She is a 1992 graduate of American University School of Communication, earning a Bachelor of Arts in public communication. Hollinger also holds a master’s in public communication and public policy from George Mason University. In 2010, she returned to American University to teach as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Communication. Kathy and her husband, Anthony, live in Northwest Washington, DC with their son, Bijan.
