Maryland Foam Ban: Saval Container Comparison

The State-Wide Maryland Foam Container Ban took effect October 1, 2020.

Although originally scheduled to begin July 1, 2020, the Maryland Department of the Environment issued an Emergency Extension due to COVID-19.

It's time to say bye-bye to foam and meet the other contenders!

The Saval Purchasing Department put together a handy spreadsheet to help you navigate the new foam-free world of To-Go Options! If you're interested in the full documents provided by the State of Maryland visit the Maryland Department of the Environment page here. Have questions?
